Speaking on the occasion Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama, M.D. & CEO, Nissan Motor India said that this moment was awaited by the company and that they look forward to a long and fruitful association with their product and services in India. The Nissan Micra is the right product at the right time that will offer the customers a good means of urban mobility with a complete package of performance, features, safety and comfort, he added. Tokuyama also commented that they expect Micra with its latent advantage and its unique features to do well in the Indian market and carve a niche of its own compared to other competitive models in this segment.

In order to ensure a good customer interaction system, the company has been engaging itself in expanding its dealership networks across India. The company is already receiving a great response towards the car as it has received 2000 bookings prior to its launch at various dealer outlets.

Used Nissan Note

The Nissan Note was launched in the UK in 2006; it has been on sale in Japan since 2004. As with many new Nissan’s the Nissan Note shares it platform with a Renault, the Modus. The Note is built in the UK in Nissan’s Sunderland plant.

The Nissan Note is in direct competition with the Renault Modus as well as the Vauxhall Meriva and Citroen C3 Picasso. The Note is the replacement for the Nissan Almera which was also built at Sunderland.

The cleverly laid out and spacious interior has made the Nissan Note very popular with young families as well as mums. The interior feels well put together and solid.

The Note comes in 3 engine variants, the 1.4 and 1.6 petrol versions and the 1.5 turbo diesel. The 1.4 is adequate around town and though it copes with motorways the 1.6 does feel better suited. The 1.5 Turbo Diesel copes well with both types of roads.

The Note’s narrow and tall body may give the impression that it’s going to roll around a lot but in fact it is pretty firm with little body roll. The ride is not harsh and rides potholes well enough.

As new the cost of a Nissan note starts at £10,895 going up to £14,795 for the fully loaded diesel variant, a used Nissan Note can be picked up for under £6,000.

Hudson Nisan: Nissan service department seeing many young families in minivans

Posted in: Nissan Pathfinder | | No Comments »>

Many younger families consider owning minivans for obvious reasons: many seats for children; space for backpacks, sports bags and musical instruments; and their affordability for families. The relationship between families and minivans is not hard to understand. It is also, then, easily understood why an automotive brand would work hard to earn the respect of new families.

This is precisely what Nissan has done. In a recent survey titled “Fenders by Gender” by the automotive website known as CarGurus.com, Nissan was named the most preferred automotive brand by women. The survey specifically noted women’s approval of Nissan’s minivan model, the Quest, sold at local http://www.hudsonnissan.com“> Nissan New Jerseydealerships. The study found a direct link between women’s approval of Nissan’s minivan and their need for a family car. Recently released in its fourth generation model, the newest Quest sports modern shaping as well as improved upon features, making the lives of families everywhere easier and more stylish.

]]>

The exterior of the Quest takes on a more SUV-like shape, giving the vehicle an additional boost of curb appeal. Large windows, in addition to an oversize sunroof make for the feel of a roomy, airy and open interior. Nearly every family driving a minivan will tell you they did not purchase the vehicle for its looks, so the new lines of the latest Nissan Quest are a welcomed improvement.

Instead, however, most families will tell you they drive a minivan for the convenience the vehicles offer family life and these conveniences are exactly what Nissan had in mind when designing the newest Quest vehicle. Firstly, Nissan made the third-row seating permanent and has allowed for the back row to lie down, creating extra storage space. No more lugging the heavy seats out of the car and into the garage for storage!

And speaking of extra storage space, Nissan has added an additional compartment to the Quest, tucked neatly away underneath the rear floorboards – perfect for the extra bag of sports gear for the big tournament weekend.

Last but not least, Nissan has shown their understanding of families by including a whopping 16 cup-holders throughout the vehicle. This proves important because every parent knows that a cup without a holder is a spilled cup indeed.

For more information on the family-approved Quest minivan or any of the other family-approved Nissan models, visit your local Nissan New Jersey dealership. While you’re at it,stop by the Nissan service department as well – you’ll be happy to learn that maintaining a Nissan vehicle is extremely affordable. Nissan Juke New York Customers Learn Juke Wins Top Safety Pick for 2011

Koeppel Nissan offers one of the safest small vehicles for 2011 to customers

JACKSON HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Nissan Juke New York dealership Koeppel Nissan is announcing the Juke is one of six vehicles to be awarded the “Top Safety Pick” by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

The vehicles being judged were evaluated for safety, and in contrast to 2006, the majority of the safest vehicles on the market now belong to smaller cars in 2011. The Nissan Juke performed better than many other larger vehicles in the crash tests, and coupled with superior gas mileage, customers are shifting toward smaller cars due to soaring gas prices.

“Customers are looking for more fuel-efficient vehicles, but they’re also looking for a high-level of safety as well,” said Ami Ferrera, Marketing Director for Koeppel Auto Group. “The 2011 Nissan Juke offers our customers both, and at an affordable price.”

]]>

In the past, small cars did not have many safety features included, but now all come with side airbags as standard features and many come with electronic stability control. Also helping with safety is the added strength to the steel frames of small cars, making frontal impacts less of a worry. Nissan Juke New York vehicles at Koeppel Nissan offers all of the above, and customers can be assured that their vehicle will protect them.

Among the vehicles tested, the 2011 Nissan Juke is one of the few to get great scores on all four of the crash tests and achieve 34 mpg on the highway and 30 mpg in the city.

Nissan Juke New York shoppers will be pleased to know the Juke may be available at Koeppel Nissan for as low as ,340. Customers can take advantage of this great offer by visiting the dealership and speaking with the staff to get the best information about the Juke and to hear how to vehicle best suits them.

Koeppel Nissan’s “Giant Memorial Day Tent Event” is also kicking off this weekend. And if fans of the dealership simply “Like” Koeppel Nissan on Facebook, they’ll be eligible to win a free iPad. With the deadline for the contest being May 31, a winner will be selected at the conclusion of the Memorial Day Tent Event.

Nissan Goes for the Elderly

Posted in: Nissan Pathfinder | | No Comments »>

Just this week, the largest symposium on electric vehicles in the world was launched and opened in Japan’s Yokohama area. And this one is actually the 22nd International battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition. And during such a coveted symposium, auto manufacturer Nissan went out of its way to show a kind of vehicle that was created with the elderly in mind.

This special vehicle is the Nissan Micro UV and it was shown off at the mentioned electric vehicles symposium along with the Nissan Hypermini. The Nissan Hypermini is just a small vehicle that can run up to 100 kilometers per hour. But this article is not about it.

Anyhow, the Nissan Micro UV was actually developed under the Nissan tutelage by the company’s subsidiary, the Autech. Along with that, there was also some sponsorship that went into the creation of the vehicle from the New Energy and Industry Technology Development Organization, or NEDO. The NEDO, if you did not know, is actually a group that was organized and created by the Japanese government back in the year 1980 so as to develop technologies that would be alternative sources of energy. And the Nissan Micro UV was the product of the team work and coordination between all these groups and businesses.

Nissan did claim that the creation of the Nissan Micro UV was mainly targeted towards the elderly drivers of its native land, Japan. After all, there is a huge increase of elderly in the mentioned area. And the Nissan Micro UV, outfitted in all its Nissan auto parts glory, would be now able to help out the elderly ones. In fact, the vehicle has been fitted with the right kind of active interface technology that would greatly help out elderly drivers. After all, the elderly really does have motor abilities that are failing, has a slow response time, and impaired driving capabilities at the very worst.

With such a kind of vehicle on the streets, elderly people would still be able to drive around their place without having to worry much about their safety. After all, Nissan sure did design the Nissan Micro UV to be the best kind of driving companion there would be in the industry.

Nissan Fairlady The Legend Of Z

Posted in: Nissan Pathfinder | | No Comments »>

Nissan has their own lady and it is definitely a head turner. But she’s not all that. Nissan’s proud car is dangerous on the road. Nissan Fairlady is what they call it. A sports car that deserve all the praises for all the fairness, but can leave anyone on the road in a very far edge.

Originally, it is called the Nissan Fairlady Z, and then changed to Z-car. It is a Nissan sports first sold way back in October 1969 exclusively in Japan. It was then exported as the Datsun 240Z. Aside from its feminist title, the car is also know for its reliability, performance and affordability. By now, Nissan Fairlady as come up with six generation of Z-cars. Six generations that will leave every car enthusiasts enraptured.

The design of the Nissan Fairlady was born after 10 car geniuses collaborated to come up with a new sports car prototype. Yutaka Katayama, Nissan president and a member of 10 realized the importance of affordable sports cars. The company has produced series of Fairlady roadsters and then the product planners sighted a new line of GT cars that thought to appear as stylish, innovative, fast and inexpensive through the use of interchangeable parts with other Nissan vehicles. The prototype project was began in 1966 using just a clay mockup.

The First Generation of the Nissan Z car was called the Nissan S30. Production started in October 1969 wherein there are two versions being released, one for the Japanese market and the other one was for Unite States. In Japan, the car was called Fairlady to keep it associated with the Nissan Sports car. But Yutak Katayama ensured that all American versions will be called Datsun, holding all the dealer shipments until all the names are totally replaced.

Nissan 280ZX is the name for the second generation of the Nissan Fairlady. It became very popular that it became the Motor Trend’s Import Car of the Year for 1979 and going on to set a Z-car sales record of 86,007.

The third generation is named the Nissan 300ZX. This model was stuffed with so many changes, especially with the interior designs. Fourth generation used the name. But this time, it became an instant hit, winning the Motor Trend’s Import Car of the Year in 1990 as well as “One of the Top Ten Performance Cars”.

On its fifth generation, Carlos Ghosn of Renault take over as the chief operating officer of Nissan. He announced that they will rebuild Z and will make it profitable. The new Z-car was called Nissan 350Z and it debuted at the North American International Auto Show carrying a bright orange color.

Sixth generation and definitely not the last was introduced December of 200. It was called Nissan 370Z. Not too lone, it is followed by the introduction of the 2010 Roadster in late summer of 2009.

Nissan Skyline – Your New Favorite Car?

Posted in: Nissan Pathfinder | | No Comments »>

If you want to buy a Nissan Skyline you should begin by learning something about the car. The first Nissan Skyline was a 1957 model. At that time it was manufactured in Japan by a company known as Prince. In 1966 the Prince Company was absorbed by Nissan, who still manufactures the Skyline model today. The model line has gone through twelve generations to date. The 1957 Skyline was considered a luxury car and had a 60 horsepower 1.5 liter engine.

When Nissan and the Prince Motor Company merged in 1966 Nissan added performance to the Skyline brand. The Skyline was a favorite among high performance vehicles until the gas crisis of the late seventies. In the eighties Nissan began selling the Skyline outside Japanese borders in places like South Africa and Australia. The eighties also saw the design of the Skyline change from a compact to a midsize model. In the Nineties the Skyline diversified with many more models becoming available. And, in the twenty first century the Skyline finally became available in North America. Most people will recognize it as the Infiniti brand.

The next step to buying a Nissan Skyline is to find a Nissan Skyline for sale. The three main ways to find a Nissan Skyline for sale are dealerships, newspapers or online ads. A simple web search for Nissan Skyline Dealers turns up about 525,000 results. That is roughly 10,000 possible dealerships per state in the U. S. It shouldn’t be too hard to find one with a Nissan Skyline for sale. Newspaper classifieds are another way to find a Nissan Skyline for sale. Most newspaper classifieds are separated into sections and one of those sections most often is labeled ‘used cars for sale – import’. Classified ads are normally posted in alphabetical order so, depending on the wording of the ad, just look under N for Nissan or S for Skyline. Online avenues in your search for a Nissan Skyline for sale include Edmunds.com, EBay Motors, Autotrader.com and Vehix.com. These are only a few of the online sources available to you.

Once you’ve found a Nissan Skyline for sale you’ll need to decide how you’re going to pay for it. Do you have the cash or are you in need of financing. One advantage of purchasing from a dealership is the relationships that many dealers cultivate with banks and finance companies. Don’t let that advantage be the only reason you choose to buy from a dealership, though. If the Nissan Skyline you want is ‘for sale by owner’ it is not a difficult chore to obtain your own financing. Simply go to the bank or credit union where you carry your checking and savings accounts and speak to a personal loan representative. As long as you are credit worthy most personal banking financial institutions are happy to help their customers obtain vehicle financing.

As for my personal experience with the Nissan Skyline, I drove a 2000 R34. It’s a fast car and a smart car. Sometimes it seems there’s not much to do but steer. Over the course of six months it averaged approximately 17 – 18 mpg. It was an enjoyable car to drive. One caveat, check the insurance rates before you purchase. You could be in for some sticker shock there.

Comparing The 3.5L Nissan Maxima And 3.5L 350Z Engine

Posted in: Nissan Pathfinder | | No Comments »>

The Nissan Maxima and the Nissan 350Z engine are two very different cars. The Maxima is a premium four door sedan that has been a part of the Nissan stable of vehicles in the United States for over 3 decades. The Nissan 350Z is a two door sports coupe which was produced by Nissan from the early 70′s until the mid 90′s. At that point it was discontinued, and then reintroduced to the American market in 2003. While both the Maxima and 350Z are powered by different variants of the same 3.5 liter engine, there are significant differences in the power and performance of each engine.

The 3.5 liter engine that is the Nissan Maxima engine is a high tech unit that employs a number of high tech features that are found both in the Nissan Maxima engine and the Nissan 350Z engine. The most significant feature found in both engines is the variable valve timing feature; the feature increases both the fuel economy and performance of the engine by managing the cam timing. Engine efficiency is also improved by employing low friction molybdenum-coated pistons and a high flow tuned induction system. Nissan also uses a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating on the valve lifter to lower friction. This technology improves both fuel economy and power transfer efficiency, and Nissan is the first company in the world to employ this technology. Both engines are dual overhead cam designs that employ four valves per cylinder. Fuel is sent through the engines in both vehicles using a sequential fuel induction system. While both engines have a compression ratio of 10.6:1, the Nissan 350Z has a 7500 revolutions per minute red line that is significantly higher than the Nissan Maxima engine.

The Nissan 350Z engine underwent an evolution over the 3 years that it was used in the 350Z. The engine was rated at 287 horsepower in its first year of use in the 350Z. The following year that power rating was increased to 300 horsepower. In the final year of use in the 350Z, the power rating increased to 306 horsepower. The increase in horsepower in the Nissan 350Z engine came at the expense of torque. The torque output in the Nissan 350Z engine decreased sustantially, from 278 pound-feet in the 2003 model year to a torque rating of 260 pound-feet in the 2006 model year. The 350Z engine returned outstanding performance figures in all three years of its use. In its final year of use in 2007, the Nissan 350Z engine motivated the car from zero to sixty in 5.8 seconds. The vehicle was able to reach a top speed of 155 miles per hour. Power output in the Nissan Maxima engine is slightly lower than the Nissan 350Z engine; the Nissan 350Z engine produces 290 horsepower at 6400 revolutions per minute.

The Japanese car maker Nissan started operation way back in 1933. Plenty of new cars have been rolled out from the company’s stables since that year. However, in India, operations did not begin that early. Only years after its venture in Japan, one sunny day Nissan suddenly realized that the Indian car market too has a lot of potential. The car maker performed a thorough research on the Indian market, and finally, in 2004, the Nissan X-Trail set foot on the Indian roads. In this article, let’s have a look at Nissan’s cars in India; the car maker’s journey in India.

The compact SUV that had broken all records in the global market was brought to the Indian market in 2004. Its excellent on-road performance continued on the Indian roads as well. The car’s, chic interiors and best-in-class 4×4 capabilities amazed Indians. The power-packed 2.2 litre dCi diesel motor, washable rear luggage board and inventive practical touches like the chilled drink holders added more fame to the car’s reputation in the Indian market.

After tasting enough success of the Nissan X-Trail, the car make made other smart moves in India to fortify its presence and set up a strong vendor base. In 2007, the Nissan Teana car came in with a big bang. This Nissan car was completely imported from Japan with a perfect blend of balanced proportion, futuristic luxury interior, riding comfort, and excellent performance to suit the needs of the Indians and also the rough and humpy roads in India. The strong and smooth 2349cc VQ23DE V6 petrol engine made the car a major hit. Teana’s engine has been one of the ten best engines for 13 consecutive years as per Ward’s Auto World magazine.

Not just these two cars, Nissan has also launched its 370Z in India. It has been conceived as an “Everyday Sports Car”, bringing to life the sweet spot of performance, style and value, which symbolizes the genetic material in all Nissan cars. With cutting-edge technology, the car is high on safety too. The car’s stylish looks have captured the Indian hearts too and the sales have further boosted Nissan’s confidence in the Indian market. The car maker has gone as far as planning the production of a car within the country. The new car, Nissan Micra will be developed at the Chennai plant in India and will be sold both in the country and overseas.

Nissan Motors has been doing pretty well in the country and now has plans of rolling out plenty more new car models on the Indian roads. Since its debut in India in 2004, Nissan has witnessed a growth of over 200 per cent. The sales figures too show steep climbs. Nissan’s journey from Japan to India has proved to be a big success.
